MorganAsh

NetServices provide innovative technology to underpin insurance business

The Challenge

MorganAsh is a small but growing business operating in the insurance sector. The company undertakes interviews for life and health insurance applicants.

MorganAsh did not want to make huge capital investment in a technology solution they may outgrow in a year or two, however neither did they want to inhibit their business by not having access to the latest technologies.

Rather than the lengthy process of completing forms, MorganAsh wanted to record interviews digitally so they would have simple but 100% accurate records. This method has become established in North America over the last 15 years and MorganAsh were the first to launch this service in the UK and Ireland, following a detailed investigation of call recording options available in the market.

The Solution

NetServices Hosted IP Telephony service provided MorganAsh with the ability to automatically record and securely store conversations, a more cost effective method than the traditional approach of filling in detailed application forms, or even recording onto analogue tape.

The IP telephony solution included data centre and back up services as well as the call recording option. Through bespoke computer telephony integration, voice recordings are linked to the MorganAsh scheduling and interviewing systems.

The Benefits

A major part of the MorganAsh service is to provide interview recordings, so that in the event of an insurance claim, the recording can be replayed. This removes the mis-selling ambiguity so often seen in the insurance industry.

The NetServices VoIP solution offers additional benefits to MorganAsh. The Hosted IP Telephony service is location independent so MorganAsh were able to roll out a remote/home working solution to their employees. As interviews have to be undertaken by qualified nurses and are often outside conventional working hours this is proving a vital part in the growth of the company.

Since this time, MorganAsh are now also hosting all their applications centrally in NetServices hosting centre and as the relationship flourishes the NetServices Account Manager continues to work closely with them.

System integrators must be able to provide converged MPLS networks that can deliver Hosted IPT solutions and must be able to use QoS over IpStream and QoS over DataStream that are both forms of QoS over DSL which are better known as QoS over broadband. MPLS broadband services are critical in delivering SIP trunk networks that are service provided by IP Carriers or SIP Carriers. For long term installs you require QoS DataStream and for short term installs you require QoS IpStream. Converged broadband consists of QoS DSL and QoS ADSL to enable the economical delivery of Converged video networks. The capability of being able to provide MPLS VPN, Converged MPLS VPN and managed mpls VPN services ensures NetServices will remain a key systems integrator.
