SIP Carrier Services - Future Proofing Business for Voice Resellers

SIP will enable customers to take the IP call from their handset and have it carried across our MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) network, then delivered to the voice gateway. An IP Gateway combined with our innovation in the delivery of QoS over all access technologies ensures NetServices are ideally placed to provide networking services to key industry Voice Integrators and PBX resellers.

For convergence to happen at the network, and few disagree that this is inevitable, level UK calls must be initiated using IP. This delivery mechanism will replace the vast and volatile Carrier pre select market (CPS) and the associated PSTN line rental. The CPS marketplace rarely has long term contracts in place and is characterised by being cost sensitive and a monthly revenue driven market place.

Those currently competing for customer sales and CPS revenues need to contract their customers in ways that increase the ability to retain those customers for the long term. The IP voice network offer delivered by NetServices will enable such an environment for our customers thereby ensuring longevity of future revenues. Traffic can not be readily moved without inflicting great disruption and/or cost adding value and stability to both our partners and ourselves.

NetServices unique and cutting edge abilities will enable partners to compete in the converging markets for larger contracted revenues as both voice and data can be trafficked through our network. These convergence solutions will provide economy of implementation for the users and increased margin and market share for our partners.

Key Messages on the SIP Future

  • IP Communication is the end result, and is the converged solution.

  • A unique feature of NetServices portfolio is the delivery of QoS over all access technologies including DSL IPStream.

  • This enables the extension of convergence to the remote and teleworker.

  • NetServices differentiates itself from other network integrators through its ability to run and converge protocols.

  • Another unique feature is our ability to run MPLS networks with QoS guarantees.

System integration is the key driver for system integrators. Systems integrators that have a meshed network capability provide a consultative skill and managed service. NetServices have BT Martlesham labs confirming that their QoS IPStream (QoS over IPStream) works as sold. As part of their DSL products NetServices also provide QoS ADSL, QoS DSL (QoS over DSL), QoS DataStream (QoS over DataStream) that are all QoS over broadband solutions that deliver MPLS broadband services. These in turn build into Managed MPLS VPN, enabling a Converged MPLS VPN meshed network. NetServices is an IPCarrier (SIP Carrier) and therefore delivers managed SIP trunks as part of a SIP trunk network that supports managed hosted IPT. As a market leading Systems Integrator NetServices has recently integrated and launched their managed video network solution that includes Video over mobile using mobile broadband technology allowing complete Converged video networks. Converged broadband installations for video services use QoS DSL and QoS ADSL technology that are future proofed as 21CN users will work in a meshed solution in a managed video network. Managed Mobile Networks that deliver mobile leased lines can now from part of managed integrated mobile WAN solutions. Managed mobile data services are available in providing synchronous mobility data services and are instantly available for mobile disaster recovery (DR). In the simplest form managed mobile networks that deliver mobile leased lines are a replacement to a fixed line installation if the installations are temporary, mobile or instantly needed.
